xHamster Introduces AI-Based Anti-Spam Filter

NEW YORK — xHamster, in an effort to combat spam in user post fields, today released a new AI-based filter to help xHamster moderators stop spammers and bots.

The AI algorithm is already searching for and removing spammers on xHamster, but to truly reach its potential it will rely on user efforts to spot spam.

“After all, artificial intelligence learns in part from you,” xHamster said. “Help us out, won’t you? Any suspicious user or spam-like message will be marked as ‘spam’ in the comments field to your content. Let us — and our AI know — by pressing either ‘delete’ or ‘not spam’ to finalize it.  Our AI will note and use your decision to help block spammers in the future.”

“As social networks like Tumblr disappear, it’s more important than ever that we build a functional, adaptable social network for our users. We’re excited to have you help us become better. Join us — and our AI — in the fight to stop the spammers.”
